sorry for not updating in over 2 months, the thing that was stopping me was my final project for school. but now school is out and i can show you all my final project. what it was was a 30 second 3D short. mine is called End of File, produced from the ground up entirely by myself (including the sound design). you can watch it in the way it's meant to be shown here on thebackalleys and only thebackalleys, i refuse to upload it to sites like youtube. click on the banner below to watch it.

starting may 12th i have an internship as an animator at Seattle based studio PlexiPixel. but that is not stopping me from going full force back into flash animation as my summer begins. expect to see a lot more animation and art from me now that i am out of school. the fun starts now!

i've gotten multiple requests to make a video version of Move Your Feet suitable for iPods, so I did it. Now you can go to the iPod video page and download either an MP4 or AVI of the cartoon and put it on your iPod! All you have to do is click and drag the video in the "Movies" section of your iPod on iTunes, and it'll upload it. I recommend the MP4 version, because it takes up less space.

if you guys want any other cartoons in other formats for handheld devices/etc, leave a comment on this newspost, and i will make it for you and put it on my site.

a lot of people have been asking where the pixel plugin i used to make Move Your Feet. So, I have created a page on Anipedia where you can get that plugin with directions on how to use & install it, plus a ton of other cool free extensions that I have found and used!

Someone pointed this out to me and i thought it was pretty cool so i'd share it with you guys.

i don't normally talk about stats and numbers and things but for the end of the year i might as well. somewhere near the end of the year marked 1,000+ watchers on newgrounds, deviantart and sheezyart. i'm pretty sure deviantart was the last place it happened. so in total that's over 3,000 (possibly) different people that are watching my work . very cool.

since i discovered that i took the time to compile some more cool stats for '07:
230 new members on thebackalleys.com (my site) forums, making 317 total
23,372 posts made on the forums, making 25,373 total
700,552 unique hits on thebackalleys.com, 1 million unique hits reached in mid-august
657 pages, 143 articles, 390 members and 26,396 unique hits since August 18th, 2007 (opening date) on Anipedia
and i released the first Project Freetown cartoon :)

so thanks guys for all your support and encouragement this year, next year will be twice as cool.

and after all those meaningless numbers, i guess i'll say i'll be releasing a new cartoon later tonight. if you want to watch it before it's released, check out this forum topic to see where it is.
