by far the best anime series. well produced, believable characters, intriguing era, excellent soundtrack and incredible direction. i have yet to see anything that comes close to it. bebop really broke in some new boundaries for anime, and shattered some stereotypes as well.

The anime that killed anime for me. Since Bebop, I haven't been able to watch anything else, nothing can compare.

That and I realized how manufactured anime is. "We have to go get the sacred stone!"

I love cowboy bebop, it's a really good series, if you don't watch a lot of anime, but if you do, like me, it's still up there. but i just didn't like watching their group fall apart nearing the end.

I think its highly over rated.

You want anime just as good or better?

Animegamer's anime hall of fame
-----------------------------------------------
Blue Gender -

Argentosoma -

Hellsing (Same creator as Bebop) -

Trinity Blood -

Samurai Champloo (Same creator as Bebop) -

Bleach -

Fullmetal Alchemist-
------------------------------------------------

and thats just off the very top of my head...

All these animes totally kick bebops ass, so if you couldn't find better ones ive just pointed them all out for you.

and if you don't believe me ask Rtil, I know the good stuff

Blue Gender is a load of garbage. It is such a boring ass story. Never heard of  Aregentosoma (MIGHT give it a try). Hellsing is pretty good, I liked that one. Trinity Blood is lame. Samurai Champloo never saw, but heard good things. Bleah and Fullmetal Alchemist are also lame. Fullmetal is so long and drawn out and the characters are so cheesy and annoying, I couldn't stomach more than one episode. I tried to give that show a chance, but I can't help it if the story was too lame.

I don't think Hellsing was created by Watanabe. That was one kick ass show though. I'm really looking forward to the second season.

Bebop is still king in my book. It had great music, in depth story and characters that were original, and the universe they lived in was fascinating (it being our galaxy in 50 years or so).

If you like anime its cool. And if Bebop is over rated to you, I really don't care. I think Anime is lame, and that most of the regurgitated stories that are being produced get old real quick.

Evangelion, Beserk, Flame of Recca, Fushigi Yuugi, GetBackers, (and more) All of which I use to watch got real boring, real soon. It's the scripting in anime that is redunant and the recycled animation that I get tired of.

Do you have any idea what cinema and quality is, not to mention, can you retaliate or do you just insult? I find no opinion in your posts, just your defense mechanism kicking in because you have nothing to say.

Nothing needs to be said, I think by saying FMA and Bleach sucks everyone already knows how great your cinema tastes are.

I don't have to say a word, you done it for me.

nice list, and agree with almost all of it, I've never seen bleach, or Argentosoma, but I'm sure their good, my friend loves them, but i just don't think that Bleach looks all that appealing to me.

I was implying that you give me reasoning behind why you think FMA and Bleach are "soo awesome". Otherwise, you look like an asshat 13 year old who masturbates to night-elf p0rn.

Im a girl so I find it unlikely that I would do that... anyway

Bleach is a little slow in the first season ill admit, but afterwords it becomes an up beat anime full of fighting, action, struggle and suspense. People who don't give it much of a chance in the first season are losing out on alot.

Preview of the great second season:

Fullmetal Alchemist is a strory of struggle, loss, hardship and the consequences of ones actions. It has moments so touching it that many can't help but laugh or cry at times. To blow it off as sucking in the first few episodes is rather sad, as the anime doen't even fully explain its story until around episode 10.

Fma also has an incredibly good music score throughout the series

If you don't watch the vids there is no point in even responding, as I let them do alot of the talking for me.

Fullmetal's musical score is alright. That video doesn't really back up anything nor really reflects the ACTUAL music used IN the show but I've heard the score second hand from one of the chonies I use to go to school with, and it was alright in my opinion.

As for story though, to me, the characters were really really over exagerated and came off annoying. The "touching moments" that everyone around me loved, I found milked to much emotion and felt unreal. The characters were portrayed as tragic heroes when they weren't at all.

Bleach video didn't really support anything either, trailers don't, they make things look cool but don't really portray what's in the story for the most part. Demons, swordplay, talking bears.... I'll give Bleach a try (again) and watch more episodes but to tell you the truth, I really think that its a overused senario. He plays Grim Reaper. Nothing really new to that except that he gets a sword and a woman sidekick. I don't see the surprise in that.

Another thing that anime really lacks in is dialogue. Cheese filled, repetitive, unnecessary dialogue that is set up so robotically, it's laughable. Its hard to take a serious anime serious if your character sounds like child wrote the script.
