Actually, TIL that girls being traditionally allowed to propose to guys on the 29th February is an Irish thing. C'est la vie en rose, I suppose, though I'm afraid that putting the making of this thread on the long finger would mean the craic would be wasted. Sure yea, that's a fret. Cheers, sound.

Any girl who was confident enough to propose to me I'd marry in a heartbeat.

How neat! A lot of people aren't very into fish though, will you also be serving anything else, or should they collectively go and fuck themselves?

That's something worth discussing with the stranger who I hire to propose to you whilst pretending to be me.

I guess it is pretty easy to dismiss things as unfunny shitposting when you don't get the point.

The cute new waitress at the Mediterranean restaurant today said my surname was "cool" and "very rare" when she took my card.

What does this mean, TBA? Does she want it?

Yeah it was a joke I know how it works.

Then again aren't love and marriage more or less the same in that regard?

Really makes you think.

what is the point in this thread who cares
"He was shown the smallness and tinsel emptiness of the little Earth gods, with their petty, human interests and connections - their hatreds, rages, loves and vanities; their craving for praise and sacrifice and their demands for faiths contrary to reason and nature."

"...it stimulates the part of the brain called "shatners-bassoon", and that's the bit of the brain that deals with...time perception..."
