this is acceptable



this is very brown, but it's not a soft and earthly brown, it's a revolting electric brown which is really fucking horrible to look at - it's also inconsistent but apparently the file was corrupted or something so i'm going to assume it is unfinished

the color abuse post is just that, save for the last picture which isn't pretty but bordering to acceptable



this isn't too bad but some of the color transitions are too sudden and crude to achieve the (hopefully) intended goal of defining the shapes of the characters and instead it loses form and looks messy (but again, this was apparently sort of unfinished)

it's odd though because this only applies to the human characters that make up the foreground while most of the stuff in the background, except for the very bright red boxes, is good and consistent

there's like a million fucking books on color and MOST PEOPLE were born with eyes and common sense and judging by some of the things i see lovey is fully capable of making far better choices than what is seen in some of these pictures but it could just be a matter of getting used to digital media and/or not having a decade+ worth of fucking experience with idiotic drawing programs developed by fags that use apple products (nuke adobe) so FUCK YOU!!!!!!!!

Yeah, it is definitely very, very, very, very bad. I have about as much experience lining things as I do coloring them, and my hands are damned unsteady. I'm not exactly sure of how to fix this.

Other than practice, practice, practice and getting a tiny bit better very slowly over time.

In the place where this takes place, the boy is a rather important person who only speaks some completely unimportant third world language nobody gives a shit about. The girl is the guy's translator; she's fluent in all four major languages, as well as his native one, and is also pretty good with a sword.
