IDK from what I can see he seems to hate everything that isnt FBF.

see this is what i'm talking about - not getting to know someone and instead coming up with your own bizarre definition of their character.

i never started making flash with the intention of being popular. hell, i didn't even know newgrounds existed when i started using flash. after i made a few spin-offs, i felt pretty cheap using other people's characters. from then on my parodies were consistently aimed towards bringing out the bad things in the subject matter, not glorifying it. hence the difference between me and something like a "video game parody".

i also see you've picked up one of the biggest misconceptions about myself as well - that i hate everything that isn't frame-by-frame animation. i sure hope there is no one like this in the world, because it really doesn't make any sense. there isn't anything that can stop a great animator from making wonderful asset-based animation. they did it in foster's home and it's been done before. there's nothing wrong with tweening unless you start abusing it. it can be a very helpful tool for animators. i use plenty of tweens myself. i know you've seen my "video game parody" flash comedy extravaganza, where i poke fun at LF for his use of tweens. i think everyone here can agree he crosses the line into abuse of the tool. that does not mean i hate tweens period.

all I did was read around.  you argue with everyone that doesnt agree with you.
if they like swain weeble egoraptor , they are morons period.  Its not my bizarre definition, its right there in black and white.

that cheap feeling  took over a year to shake off eh?  goofing on a popular artist from NG still constitutes as making a parody.  whats the diff if its mario or LF? you are still getting views  based on your subject matter. no matter how you spin it.  looking at the dark painful side,, the evils of..  blah blah... you made a parody...

but what makes you the defacto on tween abuse?  is there a rehab for tween abuse?
you arent.. you cant say to anyone they abused tweens. Kol-belov is incredible at using tweens.  And even if you were a master at animation,  you still cant put a limit to..
well anything.. its artist expression.

I know I saw it, I have it as my favorites.  its funny.. it has relevent material that makes it funny.  Every cartoon you see. even the old Tom and jerry cartoons have relevent material that makes it funny.. but its the style and execution that makes it classic.

Nothing you, I or anyone else, will ever, ever be able to come up with an original concept.
its impossible. the very point of being an artist is your interpretation of what you experience.  These videogame flashes are funny because they are relevant. your flashes are funny because they are relevant.

People seem to have this misconception about parodys.

Parodys derive there comedy from the source material.

Most newgrounds "video game parodies" arent parodies at all, they merely use popular franchises and irrelevant jokes with very little to no references to the original source material outside of the characters themselves.

Whether or not you find these cartoons funny or not doesnt matter to me, but i cant stand seeing the word parody getting tossed around as much as it does when the movies its being used to reference are nothing of the sort.

I was of the mind that it was more of a parody of the average newgrounds members concept of a parody.

Complex...

I thought that the collab was the exact point of this: trying to show that their image of a parody was just crazy.

Or just some random shit we did for laughs.
